GMAT/GRE Waiver Request Form for MBA Applicants

The Winthrop University MBA/MS Accounting program will consider GMAT/GRE test waiver requests from qualified applicants. A waiver may be granted if the MBA/MS Accounting applicant’s previous educational accomplishments and/or work experience demonstrate quantitative and analytical readiness for the quantitatively oriented coursework of an MBA/MS Accounting program.

GMAT/GRE waiver requests will be considered for MBA/MS Accounting applicants who meet one of the following waiver criteria and must be requested when completing the application online. Please select one:

An undergraduate degree with overall 2.75 GPA from a regionally accredited institution with at least four quantitative courses that average a 3.0 GPA.

A minimum of 3 years of professional experience with increasing levels of responsibility.

An earned professional credential such as a CPA, CFP, PE license, CMA, CFE, CIA, etc. OR a graduate degree from an accredited program.
