    Graduate Showcase Competition

The Graduate School is pleased to announce Winthrop University’s 6th annual Graduate Showcase Competition as part of the 2025 Graduate Student Appreciation Week, April 7-13th!

Group Poster Session: a contest that challenges graduate students to summarize their group research within the confines of a 30” x 40” poster for a general audience.

3-Minute Graduate Showcase: a contest that challenges graduate students to summarize their research within three-minutes to a general audience.

This year we have also added an online 3-Minute Showcase component for those who cannot make it to campus. Your program modality does not affect your participation in any of these events. If you are an in-person student but getting to campus is a challenge for this week, you are welcome to participate in the Wednesday, online showcase. And if you are an online student but want to participate in-person, we would love to have you join!

You cannot, however, participate in both the online and the in-person showcases.

Details about prizes, dates, etc., can be found here

    Eligibility:

    • Only current graduate students in good academic standing are eligible to compete.
    • Your degree program does not have to require a thesis or dissertation for you to compete.
